Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

In today's world, it can be easy to forget that we are the temple of God. We are surrounded by distractions and temptation, and it can be hard to stay focused on our calling. But this verse reminds us that we are special and that God dwells within us.

The temple in the Old Testament was a physical place where God's presence was said to dwell. But in the New Testament, the temple is no longer a physical place. Instead, the temple is the people of God, the church. This is because Jesus Christ is the new temple, and he has made us his dwelling place.

When the Spirit of God dwells in us, we are made holy. We are set apart from the world and belong to God. We are also called to live holy lives, which means to live in a way that is pleasing to God.

This is a challenging calling, but it is also a great privilege. We are called to be the temple of God, and we have the opportunity to live in his presence every day. Let us not take this calling lightly, but let us strive to live holy lives that are pleasing to our Lord.

When we live in this way, we are honoring God and making his presence known in the world. We are also building a foundation for eternal life. -Jinju Full Church.

고린도전서 3장 16절 "너희는 너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐?"

오늘날 세상에서 우리가 하나님의 성전이라는 사실을 잊기 쉽습니다. 우리는 산만함과 유혹에 둘러싸여 있으며 우리의 부름에 집중하기가 어려울 수 있습니다. 그러나 이 구절은 우리가 특별하고 하나님이 우리 안에 거하신다는 것을 상기시켜 줍니다.

구약성경에서 성전은 하나님의 임재가 거하시는 물리적 장소였습니다. 그러나 신약에서의 성전은 더 이상 물리적인 장소가 아닙니다. 대신 성전은 하나님의 백성인 교회입니다. 이는 예수 그리스도께서 새 성전이시고 우리를 자기 처소로 삼으셨기 때문입니다.

하나님의 영이 우리 안에 거하시면 우리가 거룩해집니다. 우리는 세상과 구별되어 하나님께 속해 있습니다. 우리는 또한 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 방식으로 사는 것을 의미하는 거룩한 삶을 살도록 부름 받았습니다.

이것은 도전적인 부름이지만 큰 특권이기도 합니다. 우리는 하나님의 성전으로 부름을 받았으며 매일 그분의 면전에서 살 기회가 있습니다. 이 소명을 가볍게 여기지 말고 주님을 기쁘시게 하는 거룩한 삶을 살아야 할 것입니다.

우리가 이렇게 살아갈 때 우리는 하나님을 더 영화롭게 하고 그분의 임재를 세상에 알리는 것이 되는 것입니다. 또한 영생의 터전을 쌓고 있는 것입니다. -진주충만
