"여호와께서 주의 위하여 하늘의 아름다운 보고를 여시사 네 땅에 때를 따라 비를 내리시고 네 손으로 하는 모든 일에 복을 주시리니 네가 많은 민족에게 꾸어줄찌라도 너는 꾸지 아니할 것이요"

이 말씀은 이스라엘 백성이 하나님을 경외하고 그분의 명령을 지킬 때, 경제적으로 풍요롭게 될 것임을 약속하고 있습니다. 구체적으로는, 풍부한 비를 내려 땅을 비옥하게 하고, 모든 일들에 복을 주어 많은 민족에게 꾸어줄 정도로 부자가 될 것이라고 말씀하십니다.

이 말씀은 오늘날 우리에게도 중요한 의미를 지닙니다. 현대 사회에서 경제적 번영은 삶의 질을 높이고, 사회에 기여할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 중요한 요소입니다. 따라서 우리는 신명기 28장 12절의 말씀을 통해 경제적 번영을 위해 무엇을 해야 하는지 생각해 볼 필요가 있습니다.

우선, 우리는 하나님을 경외하고 그분의 명령을 지켜야 합니다. 이는 단순히 종교적 신앙을 의미하는 것이 아니라, 하나님을 사랑하고 그분의 뜻을 따라 살아가는 것을 의미합니다. 하나님을 경외하고 그분의 명령을 지킬 때, 우리는 올바른 가치관을 바탕으로 삶을 살아갈 수 있게 되고, 이는 자연스럽게 경제적 번영으로 이어질 수 있습니다.

셋째, 우리는 나눔과 베풂의 정신을 가져야 합니다. 하나님은 우리에게 이웃을 사랑하라고 명하셨습니다(마태복음 22:39). 따라서 우리는 이웃을 위해 자신의 재물을 나누고 베풀어야 합니다. 나눔과 베풂의 정신은 우리를 더욱 풍요롭게 만들고, 사회에 기여할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.

신명기 28장 12절의 말씀을 통해 우리는 경제적 번영을 위해 무엇을 해야 하는지 생각해 볼 수 있습니다. 하나님을 경외하고 그분의 명령을 지키며, 근면과 성실로 일하고, 나눔과 베풂의 정신을 가질 때, 우리는 경제적 번영을 이루고, 하나님께서 주시는 모든 복을 누릴 수 있을 것입니다. -진주충만

"The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none."

This verse promises that the Israelites will become economically prosperous when they fear God and keep His commandments. Specifically, it says that He will send abundant rain to make the land fertile, and He will bless all their endeavors to the point where they will lend to many nations but will not borrow from anyone.

This verse is also meaningful to us today. In modern society, economic prosperity is an important factor in improving the quality of life and providing opportunities to contribute to society. Therefore, we need to think about what we need to do to achieve economic prosperity through the words of Deuteronomy 28:12.

First, we must fear God and keep His commandments. This does not simply mean religious faith, but loving God and living according to His will. When we fear God and keep His commandments, we can live our lives on the basis of correct values, which can naturally lead to economic prosperity.

Second, we must work diligently and honestly. God commanded us to conquer the land and prosper through labor (Genesis 1:28). Therefore, we must work diligently and honestly to maximize our abilities. We should also not be afraid of challenges and change, and we should actively seek out new opportunities.
