김목사의 말씀 묵상] 고린도후서 4장 8절

"우리가 사방으로 우겨쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 아니하며 답답한 일을 당하여도 낙심하지 아니하며"
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;

이 구절은 사도 바울이 고린도 교회를 향해 전하는 메시지입니다. 바울은 고린도 교회의 많은 문제들에 대해 낙심하고 있었지만, 하나님을 향한 믿음으로 인해 계속해서 전도와 사역을 이어갔습니다.

이 구절은 우리에게도 많은 도전을 줍니다. 우리는 삶 속에서 많은 어려움과 고난을 겪게 됩니다. 그럴 때마다 우리는 바울처럼 낙심하지 않고, 하나님을 향한 믿음을 굳게 지켜야 합니다.

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;"

This verse is part of a larger passage in which Paul is writing about the hardships he and the other Christians in Corinth were facing. He says that they are "hard pressed on every side" by troubles, but they are not "crushed." They are "perplexed," but they are not "in despair."

Paul's words here offer us a powerful reminder that even when we are facing difficult times, we do not have to give up hope. We can still find strength and courage to persevere, even when we feel overwhelmed.
