Kim Pastor's Word Meditation] Matthew 12:35

"The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him."

This verse is part of a larger passage in which Jesus is responding to the Pharisees' accusations that he is casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub, the prince of demons. Jesus tells the Pharisees that they are wrong to think that he is evil, and he uses this verse to illustrate his point. He says that a good person, who has good things in their heart, will produce good things in their words and actions. On the other hand, an evil person, who has evil things in their heart, will produce evil things in their words and actions.

This verse teaches us that our words and actions are a reflection of the condition of our hearts. If our hearts are filled with good things, then we will produce good things. But if our hearts are filled with evil things, then we will produce evil things.

This is a powerful reminder that we should be careful about what we allow into our hearts. If we want to produce good things in our lives, then we need to fill our hearts with good things. We need to read the Bible, pray, and spend time with God. We also need to surround ourselves with good people who will encourage us to do good.

"If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm;"

This verse tells us that God leads our lives and takes pleasure in our ways. When God leads our lives, it means that He is in control of all aspects of our lives. When God takes pleasure in our ways, it means that He is glorified through our lives.
